A new standard in menopause care is here.
Guided in Evidence, Centred on You

THE FIRST AND ONLY MENOPAUSE CENTRE IN SOUTHERN ALBERTA
Founded and led by Dr. Shafeena Premji, Milestone Menopause Centre of Southern Alberta was created with a vision of providing women with thoughtful, compassionate, and comprehensive menopause care.
OUR FOCUS
At Milestone, care is never rushed or focused on symptoms alone. Instead, our collaborative team of menopause-trained physicians and allied health professionals work together to provide personalized, evidence-based care that helps every woman feel heard, supported, and confidently cared for.
YOUR CENTRE
Previously located within Mahogany Medical Clinic, we are now proud to welcome patients into our new purpose-built centre in the Glendeer Professional Building — a warm and supportive space intentionally designed to care for women through one of the most important transitions in their health.

"When we educate (and empower) a woman, it is not only a personal asset that can never be taken away. We set in motion a powerful ripple effect that extends to families and communities."

Comprehensive Assessment
Our care pathway is thoughtfully designed to support you through every stage of midlife with care, understanding, and evidence-based guidance. As a specialty and multi-disciplinary menopause centre, we aim to help you feel heard, informed, and confident in your care through a clear and supportive process.
Your journey begins with a free monthly education session in a group setting (optional) followed by a comprehensive, registered nurse-led assessment that explores your symptoms, in-depth medical history, menopausal journey and overall health. A series of validated questionnaires (assessing multiple domains of your health) are also completed to ensure a thorough and comprehensive assessment.
From there, you’ll meet with an experienced MSCP (Menopause Society Certified Practitioner) physician to develop a personalized care plan, with ongoing follow-up tailored to you. Supported by a collaborative team and access to allied health services, our approach focuses on what matters most-relieving symptoms, supporting your wellbeing, and promoting
long-term health in midlife and beyond.
